What we collect and why

• Purchase data. Your email address and payment details are collected by Stripe when you buy. We receive your email, the plan and the payment status, to deliver your license and for accounting. Legal basis: contract and legal obligations. Kept for 10 years for tax purposes.
• Procedures you create with a license. What you type (company, machine, energy sources, names) is stored so you can edit and reprint it. Legal basis: contract. Kept while your license exists; write to us to delete them at any time.
• Free previews. The details you type for a preview are used to build it and are not stored. To limit abuse we count previews per IP address per day. Kept 30 days.
• Session recordings. To understand how the tool is used and fix problems, we record how visitors interact with the pages (clicks, scrolling, pages viewed and what is typed in the tool, except email and license key fields), together with a truncated IP address, browser type and referring page. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving the Service. Recordings are deleted automatically after 30 days. You can object at any time by writing to us.
• Analytics. We use a self-hosted Plausible Analytics instance, which does not use cookies and does not collect personal data; it counts visits and anonymous events.

Cookies and local storage

We do not use cookies. When you activate a license, a session token is saved in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in; signing out removes it.

Who processes the data for us

• Stripe (payments) — USA and EU.
• DigitalOcean (hosting of the Service and of our analytics) — USA.
• Namecheap Private Email (sending license emails) — USA.

Transfers outside the EU are covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, where applicable. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, to restrict or object to processing, and you can complain to a data protection authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali). California residents have the right to know, delete and correct personal information and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights; we do not sell or share personal information.
